Safety & Requirements

Before you ride.

🛵 Polaris Slingshot

  • Class E driver's license — standard Missouri driver's license (no motorcycle endorsement needed; Slingshot is classified as an autocycle in MO)
  • Minimum age to drive: 25. The driver must be 25 or older — both to operate the Slingshot and to carry a minor passenger. This is insurance-driven and not negotiable.
  • Valid government-issued ID presented at pickup
  • ✓ Closed-toe shoes required
  • ✓ Secure all loose items — open cockpit
  • ✗ No more than 2 occupants (strictly)

⛵ PlayCraft Tritoon (captained)

  • Captained operation — a licensed captain operates the boat. You ride as a passenger.
  • No Boater Safety ID needed for guests — the captain is the licensed operator
  • ✓ Life jackets on board for every passenger (we provide)
  • Captain stays sober. Zero tolerance for boating under the influence by the operator. Guests are welcome to drink (BYO or pack a cooler) — just keep it responsible and within Missouri law. Captain has final authority to end the charter if anything becomes unsafe.
  • ✓ Captain runs the boat — final say on the water.
  • ✓ Passenger capacity confirmed at booking, in compliance with federal passenger-vessel rules

Security deposit + card hold

At pickup we place a refundable hold on your card for the security deposit. No damage? It's released at return, same day. Any damage is charged against the hold only — you see every line item. We photograph the vehicle at check-in and check-out so there's never a dispute.

You'll sign our rental agreement and liability waiver at pickup. Read it in advance — we keep it in plain English.
