Short version: we collect only what we need to process your reservation, keep our fleet safe, and communicate with you. We don't sell your data.

1. What we collect

Booking info: name, email, phone, date of birth, dates, and vehicle preference.
At pickup: a photo/scan of your driver's license (for rental verification), and in the case of the boat, Missouri Boater Safety ID number if applicable.
Payments: processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your credit-card number.
Technical data: your IP address, browser type, and basic pages visited. We use Cloudflare for hosting and bot protection; Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf.

2. How we use it

To confirm and manage your reservation.
To verify age and license (safety + insurance requirement).
To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and (if you opt in) future promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To protect the fleet — photos at check-in/check-out, damage records, and claims.
To comply with law (subpoena, court order, tax reporting).

3. Who we share with

Stripe — to process payments. Their privacy policy governs their data practices.
Resend — to send you email confirmations.
Cloudflare — for hosting, CDN, and security.
Our insurance carrier — if there's a claim.
Law enforcement — only when legally required.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. How long we keep it

Reservation records and payment records: 7 years (federal record-keeping requirement for business taxes). Driver's license copies: as long as required by our insurer (typically 3 years). Marketing email preferences: until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email rangie80@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Note: we may need to retain some records for tax, insurance, or legal reasons.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies (session, preferences) and Cloudflare security cookies. We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics beyond basic traffic counts.

7. Children

Our service is for adults (25+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
